We’re continuing our series of presentations of our flagship Fuenlabrada parts. This time, we’re highlighting our double-threaded studs.
Our double-threaded studs can be screwed into a metal, plastic or aluminum component, onto which another component can then be assembled.
These studs offer several advantages:
- They can be used for multi-material assemblies (plastic, metal, etc.). A good point for vehicle lightweighting!
- They can be used to adjust the gap between two components. They can be used as a spacer or an anti-creep ring.
- Specific functions can be added: sealing patch, optional captive washer, etc.
- Various thread types and sizes are available.
These types of fasteners are very practical and useful for assembling components to the body in white or to other structures, in particular:
- Handles
- Batteries to the body in white
- Door panels
- Side guards
- Trim or car accessories
- Front and rear bumpers
- Etc.
